Top lawmakers from the Group of 20 (G20) members called for a bigger role for legislature in promoting economic recovery as they concluded a two-day forum here Friday.
The Sixth Asian Financial Forum (AFF) with the theme "Asia: shaping the next global landscape" will be held on 14-15 January at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.This year's forum will bring high-profile speakers including Guo Shuqing, chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission and Lawrence H. Summers, former U.S. Treasury Secretary.
During the forum, the participating countries, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, Colombia, Korea and Mongolia showcased their various ICT programs, said Education Assistant Secretary Jesus Mateo.
