83-year old Oscar winner Maximilian Schell dies

Austrian actor Maximilian Schell has died at the age of 83, media reports said Saturday.      The Vienna-born actor died overnight following "a sudden and serious illness", media quoted agent Patricia Baumbauer as saying.      Maximilian Schell won an Academy Award for his role in the 1961 film "Judgment at Nuremberg".      After Austria was annexed by the Nazis in 1938, Schell fled with his parents into exile in Switzerland. He returned to Austria after the war and later became a successful Hollywood actor.
