Four terrorist suspects arrested in London

Four men were arrested on Tuesday in a series of police raids across London as part of an investigation into "Islamist-related terrorism", British media said.

The suspects were detained by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command at addresses across London.

One suspect was tasered during his arrest, but did not require medical treatment, according to the police.

"A number of residential addresses and vehicles are being searched by specialist officers in west and central London as part of the investigation. The searches are ongoing," British media cited a police statement as saying.

All four suspects have been taken to police stations in central London and remained in custody, British media added. Enditem
