Police arrested a gang of abductors in the eastern Ghazni province in Afghanistan and set free 13 children from their clutches on Saturday, provincial police chief Mohammad Mustafa Mayar said.
The governor of Ghazni province, Musa Khan Akbarzada, confirmed Thursday that parliamentarian Freeba Kakar of Kandahar province has been kidnapped by Taliban militants and is in the outfit's custody.
