Twenty years after the creation of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) mechanism, regional leaders attending the 11th ASEM summit charted a new course for bi-continental cooperation in the next decade through promotion of inter-connectivity.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived here Wednesday for an official visit to Mongolia and the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit.
Shada Islam, director of policy at the Brussels-based think-tank Friends of Europe, said that the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) has performed well in terms of bringing together the two continents.
