Taiwan to close schools, offices as typhoon Chan-Hom nears

Offices and schools across northern Taiwan, including Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan and Keelung, will be closed Friday in anticipation of the heavy rain and strong winds brought by Typhoon Chan-Hom.
