European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Monday said it was important that the United Nations inspectors in Syria were able to examine evidences as quickly as possible and reach clear conclusions about what has taken place in the violence torn country.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday filed a civil antitrust lawsuit to block the proposed merger between U.S. Airways Group Inc. and American Airlines' parent corporation, AMR Corp., saying the merger would reduce competition and result in higher airfares for passengers.
