The Istana Nurul Iman palace, the residence of Brunei's Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, opens to the public from July 7 to July 9. The Sultan, along with other members of the royal family, will celebrate the annual Muslim festival of Hari Raya Aidil Fitri with Bruneians and foreigners at the palace, providing every visitor with free buffet and souvenirs. Thousands of people join the annual open house celebration at the palace every year.
