Afghan forces kill 18 militants, Taliban overrun district

​Amid ongoing conflicts in Afghanistan, the government forces conducted air strikes against Taliban hideouts in Taliban former stronghold the southern Helmand province Sunday morning, killing 18 insurgents, a security official said.
