The United Nations(UN) intends to convene the Syrian peace talks in Geneva on Feb. 8, 2017, the Spokesperson of the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria said in a statement here on Monday.
The Office of the UN Special Envoy for Syria issued a statement late Wednesday night, saying that the intra-Syrian talks are to resume in Geneva no later than Feb. 25 and possibly "much earlier."
