New Chairman of the ruling Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) U Htay Oo was defeated in Sunday's general election, the Office of the USDP confirmed Monday.
Vice-chairman of Myanmar's ruling party U Htay Oo on Tuesday voiced support for China's "Belt and Road" initiative, saying that it is a very good concept which his country has a keen interest in.
