China donates $150,000 to Myanmar

China has donated nearly 150,000 US dollars to aid the crisis in Myanmar's Rakhine state.

At the donation ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Hong Liang said the donation would be useful in restoring peace and stability in the region.

Hong Liang said China would continue to assist the Myanmar government in carrying out the peace process in Rakhine state to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
