Fighter jet crashes in southeastern S.Korea: media

A presumed Air Force fighter jet crashed into a mountain in a southeastern town of South Korea, local authorities said Thursday.

The crash was reported to the authorities at about 2:47 p.m. in Chilgok, 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Fighter fighters were sent to the scene.
