Sudanese paramilitary forces "mutiny" in west Darfur: ministry

A group of Sudan’s Central Reserve Forces in Sudan’s west Darfur region on Sunday pulled out of their camp with weapons and staged a “mutiny,” the official SUNA news agency reported.
The forces, based in Genina of west Darfur, looted logistics and food materials, said the report.
The group of militants “opened fire indiscriminately in the town, frightened the citizens and then headed toward the southwest without causing loss of life,” SUNA quoted an Interior Ministry statement as saying.
