Qingtian Holds Press Conference on "Attracting Visitors to Qingtian"

On April 9, Qingtian held a press conference themed “Attracting Visitors to Qingtian”, comprehensively releasing information on its distinctive industries, cultural and tourism events, and pro-people policies. The event also provided a detailed introduction to the initiatives, development layout, and key activities related to “Attracting Visitors to Qingtian” and “Traveling in Qingtian”.

At the press conference, the Qingtian Party Committee and Government extended a sincere invitation to visitors from home and abroad to experience Qingtian. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the county’s unique European-style charm, as well as the beauty of its natural landscapes and cultural heritage, while appreciating the deep integration of overseas Chinese culture and local characteristics. In 2026, Qingtian has carefully planned 55 cultural, tourism, and sports events. Around the May Day holiday, a series of highlight activities will be launched, including a National Night Glow Kite Competition, a May Day Cultural Tourism Carnival, and branded sports-tourism integration events, offering visitors rich and diverse experiences. At the same time, a “Qingtian Travel Gift” package of consumption vouchers will be introduced to deliver tangible benefits to the public and attract more visitors to travel and spend in Qingtian.

In recent years, Qingtian has built on its unique strengths as the “Hometown of Overseas Chinese, Stone Carving, and Celebrities”, continuously upgrading its cultural and tourism infrastructure and promoting product innovation. By further exploring local resources, the county has developed a range of immersive cultural tourism products and introduced more than 30 cultural and creative souvenirs featuring Qingtian elements, enriching visitor experiences and spending options. Leveraging its distinctive overseas Chinese heritage, Qingtian has also introduced personalized cultural tourism services such as wine tasting, coffee-making, and Western dining etiquette experiences, effectively catering to visitors’ increasingly diverse and in-depth needs.
