UN Syria inspectors should reach clear conclusions: EU's Ashton

European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Monday said it was important that the United Nations inspectors in Syria were able to examine evidences as quickly as possible and reach clear conclusions about what has taken place in the violence torn country.
The EU top diplomat, during a visit to Estonia for an ambassadors’ conference organized by the Estonian Foreign Ministry in Tallinn, said every delay in bringing both sides to the negotiating table would result in a further human toll.
“We believe that, in the end, a solution that brings people together to find a political process is absolutely necessary. The longer we wait, the more people get killed,” she said.
