APD | Memorial Mass held for murdered Filipina in Sweden

The event was due to the coordination among the Philippine Embassy in Oslo and Filipino priests and Filipino community in Stockholm.The Mass will be held at 7:00 P.M., Stockholm time at the Heliga Trefaldighets Catholic Church in Järfällavägen 159, 177 41 Järfälla, Sweden.Consul General Ma. Elena Algabre flew from Oslo and now in Stockholm to make arrangements for the repatriation of the victim’s remains and meet with the lawyer and prosecutor handling the case.It will be recalled Ms. Sinambong, a 28-year old mother of two boys aged 10 and 4, died due to injuries sustained after she was allegedly beaten by her husband Steve Abou Bakr Aalam, a 50-year old Swedish actor-director at their residence in Kista, northwest of Stockholm, Sunday evening, September 23.The reports disclosed Aalam has been taken into custody and will be charged with murder.  The Department of Foreign Affairs has assured relatives in the Philippines they will assist in the repatriation of her remains and in obtaining justice for her death.  (ASIA PACIFIC DAILY)

MANILA, Oct. 02(APD) – A memorial Mass has been scheduled today for the late Mailyn Conde Sinambong in Stockholm, Sweden. The event was due to the coordination among the Philippine Embassy in Oslo and Filipino priests and Filipino community in Stockholm.

The Mass will be held at 7:00 P.M., Stockholm time at the Heliga Trefaldighets Catholic Church in Järfällavägen 159, 177 41 Järfälla, Sweden.

Consul General Ma. Elena Algabre flew from Oslo and now in Stockholm to make arrangements for the repatriation of the victim’s remains and meet with the lawyer and prosecutor handling the case.
