China's Hubei reports 1,843 new coronavirus cases

WUHAN, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Hubei Province, center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, reported 1,843 new confirmed cases and 139 new deaths Saturday, according to the provincial health commission Sunday.

The number of new cases included 888 clinically diagnosed cases, which have been seen as confirmed cases.

The latest report brought the total confirmed cases in the hard-hit province to 56,249 cases. ■
