Rocket fire targets U.S. base in eastern Syria: media

Rocket fire targeted the largest U.S. base in eastern Syria on Sunday, the latest in a string of hits targeting the facility recently, reported the state news agency SANA.

The shelling targeted the U.S. base located in the al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, sending smoke spiraling up in the sky, according to SANA.
