Vietnamese, Chinese localities to hold border trade, tourism fair in Dec.

Vietnamese and Chinese localities are scheduled to co-hold a border trade, tourism fair from Dec. 22 to 26, according to a conference in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province on Monday.

The information was released at the conference held in Quang Ninh's Ha Long city, some 200 km northeast of capital Hanoi, reported Quang Ninh Television QTV on Monday.

Accordingly, a border trade, tourism fair will be co-organized by Vietnamese Quang Ninh's Mong Cai city and Chinese Guangxi's Dongxing city from Dec. 22 to 26 in Dongxing city.

During the event, there will be trade and investment promotion activities, wood furniture festival, festival on river between the two countries' youths, and food culture exhibition, among others.

Activities at the fair aim to promote friendship between Vietnamese and Chinese border localities as well as to create a long-lasting and stable business environment for border areas, reported QTV.
