Sao Tome and Principe confirms first four COVID-19 cases

The Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe, Jorge Bom Jesus, delivered a speech announcing that 4 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the samples sent to Gabon for testing.

A special ministerial meeting was convened to study the introduction of stricter anti-epidemic measures.

The flights between Sao Tome and Principe are suspended.
