Two icebreaking ships have arrived at Vanino port in southwest Russia. The “Novorossiysk” and “Moskva” will break through 1.5 meters of thick ice to pave way for shipping lanes.

The Tatar Strait can freeze due to extreme cold weather, delaying cargo ships.
