Twenty five school children were hospitalized after being attacked by wasps in northern Sri Lanka's Pudukuduirippu, on Tuesday, police said.
Three school teachers and a principal were also injured in the attack.
The injured had been admitted to the Killinochchi Hospital by the police and residents in the area.
Police later took steps to successfully remove the wasp nest with the assistance of residents.
