The Tibetan Calendar Year is the most solemn traditional festival of the Tibetan people in a year. It is also one of the national intangible cultural heritage. On the morning of February 24, the Tibet Culture Museum of China Tibetology Research Center, Beijing Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission and Chaoyang District Culture and Tourism Bureau jointly held an activity themed "Tolerance and Cohesion -- My Tibetan Years in Beijing". Officials from Beijing Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission and Chaoyang Culture and Tourism Bureau, Party Branch Secretary of Tibetan Culture Museum of China Tibetology Research Center Mr. Zha Ga, Principal of the second branch school of RDFZ Ms. Gong Yueping, ,famous painter Ms. Wu Xi attended the event.

Zha Ga, secretary of the Party branch of the Tibet Culture Museum of the China Tibetan Studies Center, said in his welcome speech that the purpose of this theme activity is to let the majority of young people more intuitively understand that our vast territory is jointly developed by all ethnic groups, our long history is jointly written by all ethnic groups, our brilliant culture is jointly created by all ethnic groups, and our great spirit is jointly cultivated by all ethnic groups "; Let them deeply realize that in the construction of a unified multi-ethnic country, a community of shared destiny of the Chinese nation has been formed, which is "I in you, I in you"; We should guide teenagers of all ethnic groups to hold together like pomegranate seeds, create a better life together, and realize the glorious dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Later, Ms. Gong Yueping, principal of the No.2 Branch School of Renmin University of China, said in her speech that since 2014, the friendly cooperation between the second branch school of RDFZ and the Tibetan Culture Museum has come to the 10th year. The children were excited to participate in this activity, which also made them have a deeper understanding of ethnic unity and colorful ethnic culture.

It is very moving that Ms. Wu Qian, a famous painter, also came to the scene to donate her Tibetan-themed work, Plateau Morning Song, to the Tibetan Culture Museum of China Tibetology Research Center. In her speech, Ms. Wu Qian said, "I love painting all my life, especially Tibetan-themed art. I have created such Tibetan-themed works as The Sound of the Flute, The Golden Autumn in the Snowy Region and Praying for Good Luck. "The Sound of the Flute" was shown at the National Gallery in the early 1990s to great acclaim. I hope to maintain exchanges with the Tibetan Culture Museum, and I am willing to do what I can on the level of Tibetan-themed painting art."

The event site also presented awards for the "Childlike innocence Forever to the Party, welcome the Top 20" children's painting and calligraphy exhibition. The guests presented certificates and prizes for the children who won prizes in this activity, the excellent organizers and the instructors.

After the award ceremony, volunteers from the Tibetan Culture Museum of China Tibetology Research Center and teachers and students from the second branch school of RDFZ presented wonderful performances of dance, chorus, solo singing, Zhongruan solo and Peking Opera dance. The atmosphere was very warm.

At the end of the event, volunteers from the Tibet Culture Museum led the children to visit the "Snow Stars -- Tibetan Traditional Culture Art Exhibition". The children had a close experience of Tibetan culture.
