At its 50th Anniversary Dinner, Deloitte Hong Kong shared its launch of the INspire HK strategic initiative this year, with investment of HKD1 billion over the next three years to advance its Hong Kong practice and double the number of their future-ready talent, with the aim to better serve Hong Kong and its integration into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Embarking on its next phase of development, Deloitte looks forward to many more years of making an impact for their clients and society and sharing their vision with diverse stakeholders towards a better future, riding development trends in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

Deloitte Hong Kong has voyaged through a half-century journey in the blink of an eye. On 8th December, 2022, Deloitte hosted its golden jubilee at JW Marriott Hotel with many distinguished guests to celebrate its 50th anniversary milestone.
Deloitte China CEO Patrick Tsang: "Hong Kong is where Deloitte China laid the foundation for its success. Today, it continues to be a critical market in a global environment. Our achievements would not be possible without the valued trust and support from our clients, business associates, alumni and colleagues, to whom I express my heartfelt appreciation. It has been a truly extraordinary journey – 50 years ago, we established as an accounting firm with a team of 30 focusing solely on auditing and tax services. Today, we are a multidisciplinary professional services firm with more than 3,000 professionals and digital capabilities. What remains unchanged is our commitment to social responsibility and to contributing to the equity and social harmony in Hong Kong."

In 1997, Kwan Wong Tan & Fong, the largest Chinese firm of Certified Public Accountants in Hong Kong, merged with our Hong Kong office, enabling our efforts in boosting the economic development of Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland."
The "Deloitte Hong Kong Development Journey" video perfectly illustrated the growth of our organization in this city over the past 50 years. We've scaled from a 30-person accounting firm focusing on audit and tax to a multifaceted, comprehensive, digitally capable professional service organization with over 3,000 members. Throughout this half-century journey, we've been through plenty of ups and downs, but our perseverance, professionalism, innovation, and most importantly, our legacy, remains unwavering and unchanged.

We were able to relive and witness some of our unforgettable moments through the interviews of some ex-Deloitte colleagues that was played during the ceremony. The firm arranged a half-month exhibition in the lobby of JW Marriott Hotel to highlight the transformation of Deloitte Hong Kong over the past 50 years.
Deloitte Hong Kong's 50 years of history symbolizes the beginning of a new era, the embarkment of a new journey. We are proud of our past accomplishments, and we are ready to achieve even greater milestones. Here's to a brighter future for all!
