Major cities impose curfews as U.S. braces for protests nationwide

As protests continue to spread across the United States over the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck, at least 25 cities in 16 states have imposed curfews.

U.S. National Guard troops were activated in Washington, DC to help police handle protests gathered near the White House on Saturday (May 30).
