China's Hubei reports 323 new cases of novel coronavirus

Central China's Hubei Province reported 323 new confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and 13 new deaths on Saturday, the provincial health authorities said Sunday.

On Saturday, the provincial capital Wuhan, the center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, reported 46 new cases. The cities of Huangshi, Xianning and Huanggang reported 31, 43 and 58 new confirmed cases, respectively, according to the Hubei Provincial Health Commission.

By the end of Saturday, 1,052 cumulative confirmed cases of the new pneumonia had been reported in Hubei, with 52 deaths and 129 cases in severe condition. Forty-two patients had been discharged from hospitals.
