Watch French military using robots in training mission

The French military posted training mission photos alongside various robots including Spot, the robot dog, built by the U.S. firm Boston Dynamics. The photos have spurred discussions online, as many question the ethical ramifications of using robots and AI in warfare.

The robots did not appear to be armed themselves, and the tweet said the training was “raising students’ awareness of the challenges of tomorrow,” including “robotization of the battlefield.”
