Demonstrators gathered in Washington D.C. for the "March On for Voting Rights" on Saturday, which is also the 58th anniversary of the historic March On Washington.

Rallies and marches across the U.S. took place on Saturday to protest several state legislatures that have imposed voting restrictions in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

People who attended the events held in cities like Atlanta, Houston, Miami and Washington D.C. aim to show support for the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which increases the power of the federal government to block discriminatory election rules.
