There were no immediate reports on casualties but the explosions occurred in densely populated parts of the Afghan capital including near the centrally located Green Zone and at a neighborhood in the north, according to AFP.

The explosions reportedly happened at around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday.

According to Tolo News, several rockets landed in multiple locations in downtown Kabul a few minutes after two explosions rocked the city's Chehel Sutoon and Arzaan Qeemat areas.
