Chinese mainland reports 25 new COVID-19 cases outside Hubei

The Chinese mainland reported 25 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday outside Hubei Province, the epicenter of the outbreak, according to the National Health Commission Saturday.

Of them, 24 cases were imported from outside the Chinese mainland. The Chinese mainland saw a total of 60 imported COVID-19 cases as of the end of Friday, according to the commission.

The commission said it received reports of 99 new confirmed cases Friday from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, including 74 from Hubei.
