The multinational high-tech and manufacturing company Honeywell believes in the power of "Made in China" and resilience of China's economy, according to Honeywell China President Scott Zhang.

"We always trust the power of 'Made in China' and resilience of China's economy," Zhang told CGTN.

The company is famous for its personal safety equipment such as masks and air cleaners. And Zhang said that Honeywell has donated 2 million U.S. dollars-worth of equipment, "which has already arrived in Wuhan and Xi'an."

Meanwhile, he said that Honeywell's 21 plants across China fully resumed production last week and are "running almost at full capacity."

"We feel honored that our resumption of production was complimented by the spokesperson of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was a great recognition and encouragement to our employees," the president shared with CGTN, adding that not only had they resumed production, Honeywell also supports its key suppliers in resuming work and is working with its customers to address "any potential disruptions."

And the president highlights Chinese official efforts to support business by saying "we appreciate central and local governments' measures to stabilize business, and foreign-funded companies will enjoy the same treatment as local enterprises."

"As a company that has been deeply rooted in China for so many years, I am proud and grateful that our employees and partners have been making great efforts in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi'an and other cities to contribute toward this cause," he mentioned.

And Zhang stressed that the company has adopted "as many measures as possible" to protect its 11,000 Chinese employees working here.

"We believe as we stand in solidarity, we will end this epidemic soon and strive for a bright future," Zhang said.
