A high-speed passenger train derailed at the main railway station in the Indian capital Thursday, railway officials said.

The derailment of Jammu Rajdhani Express, which was coming from the northern Indian city of Jammu, took place while the train was entering the New Delhi railway station this morning.

However, there have been no reports of any casualty in the incident so far.

"The last coach of Jammu Rajdhani Express which was entering platform number 15 of New Delhi railway station derailed," Neeraj Sharma, Northern Railways spokesperson, told the media.

A probe has been ordered into the incident, he added.

This is the seventh incident of train derailment in the past one month.

Indian Railways is one of the world's largest train networks, criss-crossing the country from north to south and carrying millions of passengers daily, but its safety record is poor.
