An explosion targeting an Afghan Special Forces base in Maidan Shahr, capital of Wardak province left an unknown number of casualties on Monday, TOLOnews reported.
A spokesperson for Wardak governor confirmed there were casualties in the blast, but added that there was “no exact information.”
TOLOnews earlier reported that the attack was carried out by the Taliban.
