4 security personnel killed in clash with militants in SW Pakistan

At least four paramilitary troops were killed and 10 others injured in an armed clash between militants and security forces in Pakistan's southwest Mastung district on Monday, local media reports said.

Aaj TV said that four personnel of Levis forces who were escorting a team of foreign cyclists were killed when some unknown militants attacked the team in Koshak area of Mastung, a district in the country's southwest Balochistan province.

Dawn TV channel said that one Spanish tourist also got injured in the firing by militants.

The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

This is the second attack in Mastung over the last few hours, earlier on Tuesday evening, 28 people were killed and several others injured when a suicide blast hit a pilgrims' bus in the district.
