2020 comes to a close. China has been working hard in difficult circumstances this year. The longstanding goal of eliminating extreme poverty has been achieved, despite the major hit absorbed in the onset of the global coronavirus pandemic. But now, at the end of a very dark tunnel, light appears, and the country is again aiming higher.
