Chinese, Russian leaders exchange New Year's greetings

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin exchanged New Year's greetings on Thursday.

In his message to Putin, Xi spoke highly of the cooperation between the two countries in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, saying that the upcoming year has a special meaning for bilateral ties.
