Passover begins at sundown tonight

Jews will celebrate Passover at sundown on Saturday March 27, 2021. The holiday is a weeklong festival that remembers the freedom of the Jewish people from slavery in ancient Egypt. It ends at nightfall on April 4.

Customs include the burning of the Chametz (leavened foods prohibited during Passover) and dipping cooking utensils in boiling water to remove traces of leavening agents.
