Death toll of stampede at Soleimani's funeral rises to 40

The death toll of a stampede at the funeral of slain Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in Iran's Kerman city rose to 40 on Tuesday, with the number of the injured rising to 213, according to Fars news agency.

Soleimani, former commander of the Quds Force of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was killed in a U.S. airstrike at Baghdad airport on Friday.
