Deloitte China launches regional headquarters in Sanya

Auditing and consulting firm Deloitte China launched its regional headquarters Thursday in Sanya, a coastal city in southern China's Hainan Province.

It is the 24th branch that Deloitte has set up in China.

Deloitte has been providing services to Hainan since 2016. The Hainan office will provide more comprehensive consulting and auditing services and contribute to building a more open market and better business environment in Hainan, said Southern Region Managing Partner with Deloitte China Dennis Chow.

Wu Haifeng, vice mayor of Sanya, said Sanya is striving to become a benchmark in building the Hainan free trade port. Wu expects Deloitte would boost the system innovation and help improve the business environment in Sanya.

Deloitte China signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the city government of Sanya in April 2019 to establish a wholly foreign-owned company as the Hainan regional headquarters.
