Tokyo stocks end slightly lower amid Greece fears

Tokyo stocks dropped slightly on Monday, as investor sentiment was dented by concerns over Greece's debt talks.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 19.29 points, or 0.09 percent, from Friday at 20,387.79. But the broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 0.44 points, or 0.03 percent, to 1,651.92.

Major decliners included mining, pulp and paper and oil and coal products, while insurance and real estate led gainers.

The turnover was 2,010.03 billion yen (about 16.29 billion U.S. dollars).
