A few days ago, 12 of Europe's biggest clubs announced that they will create a new league, called European Super League. It immediately sparked an outcry from fans, players and UEFA. Not surprisingly, this controversial league collapsed in just two days. Why? Because it not only harms the traditional football but also uses money to further strengthen the position of the big clubs in the top league, leaving smaller clubs unable to compete.
