Sierra Leonean president receives China-donated COVID-19 vaccines

Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio on Monday received a batch of COVID-19 vaccines donated by China on Thursday.

Expressing appreciation to the Chinese government, Bio said China is the first country to donate COVID-19 vaccines to Sierra Leone.

"A friend in need is a friend indeed," said the president.
