in wheelchairs on Tuesday during a court visit to the crime scene.

For their protection, the two handcuffed suspects wore bulletproof vests during the trip. About 200 police officers, many armed with rifles and wearing masks, were also deployed at the scene.

Their defense lawyer said the trip was necessary to provide a better understanding of the events that occurred on the day Kim Jong Nam died. The women say they were tricked into carrying out his murder.
