Ten new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Finland

Ten new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Finland on Monday, bringing the total infection cases of the country to 33.

Seven new cases were reported by Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) in the morning, the rest were reported by the Central Finland Hospital District.

The infected people have traveled to the epidemic area or contacted with someone infected.

In Finland, over 700 pupils and school staffers have now been ordered out of school due to the COVID-19. Five education institutes across the country have put pupils/students and staff members in quarantine.

Finnish Minister of Education Li Andersson urged citizens not to go to school, kindergarten or work if they have flu symptoms.
