Chinese universities are nothing short of daring and eye-catching architectures, however the most beautiful ones are those designed by Mother Nature.
On the campus of Southwest University, in Chongqing municipality, a building has given the term "tree house" a whole new definition.

Trailing plants have turned a half-century-old building into a green cube. Creeper plants have covered the whole of the three-storey architecture, which houses the offices of the university's administrators, leaving out the red window frames.

Over the years, the view has become a trademark of the campus and an attraction for photographers.

The building is also a protected historic site. Constructed shortly after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, the building was used first as the office for the then local government and assigned to the university in 1952.
