Afghan condemns attack on Chinese

Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said the ministry condemns the gruesome incident in its strongest term.

He added that the police have started investigation into the case and will bring those behind the crime to justice.

According to the ministry, unidentified armed men sneaked into an apartment of Chinese nationals in central Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Thursday afternoon, killing four people including one Chinese man, two Chinese women and their Afghan guard.

The attackers also took away two other Chinese men, but one of them managed to escape.

The condition of the missing and the nature of the case are still not available yet.

The Chinese Embassay in Afghanistan has asked Chinese citizens in the country to be alert of their safety.

About 300 Chinese are in Afghanistan now. Most of them live in Kabul.
