Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Chang Ung visited IOC headquarters on Wednesday, one day after the country agreed to send a delegation to next month's Winter Olympics in neighboring Republic of Korea

Chang spent four hours at the IOC building in Lausanne, Switzerland before he left in a black car. He chose not to speak to reporters.

The IOC said the meeting at its headquarters would take a series of "essential decisions" on such issues as the names of DPRK athletes for the games, and the flag and uniform to be used.

IOC president Thomas Bach hosted the talks, which also included delegations from the national Olympic committees of both Korean countries.

The DPRK's agreement with its neighbor to send a large delegation to the PyeongChang Games was taken at the first meeting that the two neighbors had held in over two years.
