The United States has so far vaccinated about 2.8 million people against COVID-19, which is about .84 people for every 100. Many say at that rate, it will take years to protect the entire country.

Other nations have higher COVID vaccination rates with far fewer COVID cases. According to Our World in Data. Israel has a coronavirus vaccination rate of 9.18 per 100 people, followed by Bahrain at 3.37 per 100 people, and the U.K. at 1.39 per 100 people.
