Barkhor Street in Lhasa is an iconic scenic spot in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. It has been thriving with new dynamism amid cultural inheritance and preservation. Chinese President Xi Jinping made an inspection tour of Lhasa on Thursday. He visited the Drepung Monastery, Barkhor Street and the Potala Palace square and also chatted with residents in an intimate and cordial manner.
